MEET DUO HELLIER

“Outstanding musicianship, and a musical presence which often sounds as if there are more than just two instruments.”

“Outstanding musicianship, and a musical presence which often sounds as if there are more than just two instruments.”

Duo Hellier is an exciting British ensemble founded by violinist Rosemary Hinton and cellist Jonathan Ayling.

International performers in their own right, Rosemary and Jonathan formed Duo Hellier to showcase well known chamber masterpieces alongside lesser known and contemporary repertoire.

The duo is named after important British composers Cyril and Clifford Hellier who performed together as a violin and piano duo during the 20th century.

They also happen to be Rosemary’s Grandfather and Great Uncle!
